13/7/2014· I also accidently removed the IR sensor socket from the board and cannot get the old hdd (now 2nd drive) to be recognized either. As I understand it, the IR sensor connector controls the IR sensor and the Power LED, but am wondering if there is something more to this connector/scenario.
